Everyone knows the name of Brian Terry--the US border agent killed in the ""Fast and Furious"" case----so I thought I would look up other border agents killed in duty---after all its a dangerous job---and so I'll ask ""Where's the outrage and investigations??""

Details:
On Friday, July 6, 2012, Border Patrol Agent Leopoldo Cavazos, Jr., died from
injuries he sustained in an all-terrain vehicle accident. The accident occurred
during patrol operations near the Fort Hancock Port of Entry in Fort Hancock,
Texas. Agent Cavazos, a native of Houston, Texas, was a six-year veteran of the
Border Patrol assigned to the Fort Hancock Station.
Agent Cavazos entered on duty with the U.S.
Border Patrol on May 22, 2006, as a member of the 621st Session of the Border
Patrol Academy. After graduating from the academy, he was assigned to the Fort
Hancock Station in the El Paso Sector. Agent Cavazos was 29 years old at the
time of his death and leaves behind a wife and two children.

Details:
On Thursday, July 19, 2012, Border Patrol Agent James R. Dominguez was killed
while assisting stranded motorists near Cline, Texas. Agent Dominguez, of the
Uvalde Border Patrol Station, was struck by a passing vehicle along Highway 90
and died of his injuries a short time later. Agent Dominguez was 41 years old
at the time of his death and leaves behind a wife and four children.
Agent
Dominguez entered on duty with the U.S. Border Patrol on May 7, 2000, as a
member of the 434th session of the Border Patrol Academy. After graduation, he
reported for duty at the Uvalde Station in the Del Rio Sector. Agent Dominguez
was the third member of his family to serve in the U.S. Border Patrol.

Details:
On Saturday, September 15, Border Patrol Agent Jeffrey Ramirez of the
Hebbronville Station died in the line of duty as a result of a heat-related
illness incurred during training. Agent Ramirez had been hospitalized in
Laredo, Texas since the onset of the heat-related illness on August 22, 2012.
Agent Ramirez was 25 years old at the time of his death and leaves behind his
parents, sister, brothers, son, and girlfriend. One of his brothers is also a
Border Patrol Agent.
Agent
Ramirez entered on duty with the U.S. Border Patrol on September 1, 2008 as a
member of Border Patrol Academy Class 810. Following graduation from the
Academy, he was assigned to the Hebbronville Station in the Laredo Sector.

On Tuesday, October 2, Border Patrol Agent Nicholas J. Ivie, of the Brian A.
Terry Border Patrol Station, was mortally wounded in the line of duty. He was
shot while responding to a sensor activation in a remote area near Bisbee,
Arizona. Agent Ivie was 30 years old at the time of his death and leaves behind
a wife, two daughters, his parents and four siblings.
Agent
Ivie, a native of Provo, Utah, entered on duty with the U.S. Border Patrol on
January 3, 2008, as a member of the 733rd Session of the Border Patrol Academy.
Upon graduating from the Academy, he was assigned to the
Naco (now known as the Brian A. Terry) Station in the Tucson Sector.
David R. Delaney

COLLAPSED ON FOOT PATROL
Details:
On Friday, November 2, Border Patrol Agent David R. Delaney collapsed and died
while patrolling on foot near Big Bend National Park in Texas. He was 44 years
old at the time of his death and leaves behind his wife, two daughters, and a
son.
Agent
Delaney entered on duty as a member of the 536th academy session on December
12, 2002. Following his graduation, he was assigned to the Calexico Station in
the El Centro Sector. He then transferred to Houlton and Grand Forks Sectors
before settling in at the Big Bend National Park Sub-Station of Alpine Station
in the Big Bend Sector in 2011.
