THIS IS THE CENTRAL QUESTION---REAL Liberty or REAL Tyranny
and understanding the difference. It is
SO CRUCIAL to understand the difference----
The NSA story has exposed the true question of the size and
role of government that liberals and conservatives NEED to agree on---not
healthcare, welfare, business regulations, IRS looking at tax exempt
organizations etc. BUT OUR CIVIL LIBERTIES
The question is about national security, terrorism and the
Constitution and our civil liberties as essential.
I always write that “”everyone needs to be healthy wealthy
safe and free---but liberals and conservatives only disagree on role of
government”” as in business regulation, welfare, food stamps and now obamacare
etc
But that is NOT the major issue---the major issue is how
govt treats its citizens----is it a govt OF BY AND FOR the people, or does govt
abuse its power and intrude on the civil liberties defined in the
Constitution???
We FOUNDED this country by declaring independence from a
tyrannical leader, his crimes defined in the Declaration of Independence---and
we established a government with protections in order to prevent tyranny from
happening again (sections of the Declaration and Constitution are below)
Collecting taxes and establishing
business regulations (and health insurance regulations) ARE NOT EXAMPLES OF
TYRANNY!!! Tyrants do not care about the welfare of their citizens---they
care about power and keeping power---so they label dissidents as terrorists,
they spy on them and jail them and kill them.
This is the issue that is putting Democrats against
Democrats, while other Democrats arelining up with GOP and Libertarians,
fighting the real fight over liberty vs the need for security---we have the 4th
amendment to protect AMERICANS against “”unreasonable searches and seizures and
searches without probable cause.””
THIS is the fight of our democracy and our values. We can have freedom and security—but we
CANNOT have 100% security or 99% liberty---giving up our liberty is not a
choice---and nothing can ever keep us 100% safe.

****DISSOLVE CONGRESS He (King George III) has dissolved
Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his

****Have NO independent court ---He has obstructed the
Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing
Judiciary powers.
****Improper Trial and detention ----For depriving us in
many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury

We the People of the United
States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure
domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general

ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
WE ARE A NATION OF
LAWS SET UP UNDER THE FRAMEWORK OF THE CONSTITUTION---WHICH ESTABLISHED A
CONGRESS TO REPRESENT THE PEOPLE
All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a
Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of
Representatives.
The constitution sets
laws for raising govt revenue---TAXES
Article 1 Section. 7.
All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House
of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on
other Bills.

SECTION 8---it is crucial for Tea party and GOP to understand
ARTICLE 1 Section. 8.
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties,
Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts
and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States;
but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United
States;
To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations,
and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;
To establish an uniform Rule of
Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the
United States;
To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof,
and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;
To provide for the Punishment of
counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;
To promote the Progress of Science and
useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the
exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;
To define and punish Piracies and
Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offences against the Law of Nations;
To declare War, grant Letters of Marque
and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;
To raise and support Armies, but no
Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years;
To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws
of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
To provide for organizing, arming, and
disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be
employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States
respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training
the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;
SECTION 10-----the stats have their rights BUT ARE NOT THE
FEDERAL GOVT
No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or
Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of
Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts;
pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation
of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.
(again this is what 2nd
Amendment regulates)
Article 2 Section 2. The
President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United
States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual
Service of the United States;
